On 22 April the Town of High River honoured the Rotary Club of High River's Past-President Ev Doherty with its 2021 Senior Volunteer of the Year Award. Aside from his extensive responsibilities within Rotary, Ev devotes much of his time to Meals on Wheels, Abbeyfield House, and the Highwood Golf Course. Ev's leadership of the Rotary during the onset of Covid-19 was critical to ensuring a safe transition for the club's members whilst continuing to support many of High River's charitable organizations. All the members of the Rotary Club of High River join in congratulating Ev on this deserving recognition and award.
